About Us

Boy Scouts of America Troop 168 is the oldest chartered Boy Scout Troop in Rolling Meadows, IL.
Serving the youth of the Rolling Meadows community for over 50 years.

The Troop aims to prepare young people to make ethical and moral choices over their lifetimes by instilling in them the values of the Scout Oath and Law. Today, these values are just as relevant in helping youth grow to their full potential as they were in 1910, the year the Boy Scouts of America was founded. Scouting helps youth develop academic skills, self-confidence, ethics, leadership skills, and citizenship skills that influence their adult lives.

Boy Scout Troop 168 meets every Monday evening at 7:00pm at the Community Church of Rolling Meadows and explores the world with monthly camping and travel.  Troop 168 includes boys from many schools and faith communities in the Rolling Meadows/ Palatine IL area.
